It requires 0,6 µL blood. It’s possible to obtain this amount of blood using accessories: Glucoject Dual S and Glucoject Lancets No-dol.
The blood glucose measurement starts only when the correct amount of blood is applied on the strip.

Glucoject Dual S Features
Comfort Zone Technology
Making blood sampling much less of a pain!
Damage or injury to the skin causes receptors to generate pain signals that are transmitted to the brain via spinal cord.
Through the particular Comfort Zone Technology (CZT), Glucoject Dual S uses eight raised points to apply pressure on nerve fibres in the finger and send a message of comfort to the brain whilst masking the message of pain.
According to the "gate theory ", the tactile stimulus to the brain, conveyed by large nervous fibres, obstructs the passage of the pain stimulus which is instead conveyed by smaller nervous fibres.
In this way, Glucoject Dual S thanks to eight raised points causes a reduced perception of pain, when the lancet needle penetrates the skin for taking a blood sample. Thanks to CZT, Glucoject Dual S increases comfort, masking the sensation perception of pain, making blood sampling much less of a pain.
